Seuss-a-thon 2018: A Hit!!

SSeuss-a-thon 2018 was a remarkable success! Families with their children found Park Road Books bustling with other families and kids listening to UNC Charlotte faculty and friends reading stories from Dr. Seuss. One of the notable readers–not from UNC Charlotte–was Senator Jeff Jackson (District 47) who did a wonderful job with Yertle the Turtle, one of Seuss’s political fables. Students from the Children’s Literature Graduate Organization (CLGO) made “Cat in the Hat” Hats for children, as well as mini-Loraxes! They were helped by undergraduate from Sigma Tau Delta (ΣΤΔ), the English Honor Society.
