Kevin Chauncey Receives Grad Teaching Assistant Award
Kevin Chauncey, an M.A., student working in the area of linguistics, received the Graduate Teaching Assistant Award from UNC Charlotte’s Center for Graduate Life. Kevin, who will be completing his M.A. this semester served as a Teaching Assistant for Professors Ralf Thiede and Alan Rauch. In addition to his remarkable work with students, Kevin and the members of the English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) organized the 18thAnnual EGSA Conference, one of the largest conferences of its kind in the Southeast and has served as Vice-President of the Early Modern Palaeography Society (EMPS). Always generous with his time to students and colleagues alike, Kevin participates in virtually every departmental event, and has earned the respect and admiration of the community. This is a very well-deserved award.
