Jeffrey Leak named Director of American Studies

Congratulations to Professor Jeffrey Leak who has been named the new Director of American Studies in CLAS. Jeffrey brings a breadth of understanding of the university and the community, through his various past roles as President of the Faculty, Director for the Center of the Study of the New South, and Faculty Athletic Liaison. His current experience as an ACE Fellow provides him an important view on the higher education landscape. His own Ph.D. is in American Studies, so he brings an intellectual grounding to the directorship as well.
